Well, today I'll to be a little less dark. I admit I uncovered some deeply painful feelings yesterday, but then again, that's what journalling is about sometimes, right?
I went back to bed after my 4:00 breakfast, mainly because I didn't get much sleep till that point. On Saturday nights, they let us stay up till 1:00 AM. Only about seven of us stayed up. We were watching an old Saturday Night Live from 1978 or 1979. I loved it. I'm a connoisseur of old SNL shows. this gem featured one of the members of Monty Python, whose name escapes me, and the band the Chi-Lites. Some of my felow inmates were trying to remember the names of the former cast members. They were naming ones from all throughout the history of SNL. Belushi, Chase, Short, Martin, Murray, Murphy, Akroyd. the list goes on and on. Even Conan O'Brien got his start as a writer on the show, and appeared in some skits in the 1990-1991 season.
I wish there was a SNL trivia game. I would kick its ass. There was one at the SNL website, but it isn't vewry challenging, and when I was on it last, I answered all the questions correctly in a very short amount of time.
Today I heard about a new program they're doing called DRC, or Day Release Center. Basically it means they let us out of here early and we go home and do whatever we want. We only have to report to an office downtown twice a week, once to piss test, another time to attend a class or something. I hope I get to do it. From my understanding, everyone on the work release program gets to do it. I hope so. That means I could be out as early as Feb 28. That also means I could stop wearing this God awful outfit:
